This year a group of exceptional TECH PPA students engaged in advanced understandings of CAD,  SCRATCH, HTML and MINECRAFT in PPA's first TECH Honors Innovator's Club.

THE FINCH ROBOTS HAVE ARRIVED!

Birsbrain Technl=ologies has accepted our loan application granting our school access to a classroom set of FINCH robots. For our loan period we will be experinmenting and creating phycial programming challanges to develop our physical computing skills!.

Last year we formed patnerships to bring coding exposure and experince to students on PS 92 and District 75. It was a rewatding experince for all students involves as TECH skills were shared and understandings of all things TECH blossomes. On Friday, March 29th, 2019, PPA students volunteered to host PPA's first Peer to Peer Community Code event. The event held in the computer lab at PPA, afforded students an opportunity to share and apply their undendings of understandings of digital illustration with students peers. The event was a success and student are looking forward to participating in future events.

PPA students engaged in a fun filled week of computer programming explorations, through multi-platformed resources that exposed students to multifold CS principles and visual block coding challenges. Over the course of the week students applied their imagination and creativity to  have been applying their creativity, curiosity  developing creative innovative solutions to community problem.

Ms. Theobald has been selected as a CS4ALL PD Lead for the upcoming academic year .This opportunity will afford her a platformom to forge collaborations across the academic areas and increase innersions of Computer Science Principles across multi-subject curricular instruction.

from 5 to 7PM.

Parents and students gathered in the computer lab on December 10th and December 11th, 2018  to celebrate and support their child's  accomplishments in technology this year. Students shared their experience and innovative creations with parents who were provided with resources to support online safety.
